A Great Day of Health, Community & Smiles! 💙

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Jefferson Methodist Hospital Annual Community Health Expo! What a wonderful day it was as neighbors, families, and friends came together to learn more about their health, receive valuable screenings, ask questions of our healthcare professionals, and discover the many services available right here in our community.

The beautiful weather made for a perfect day, and it was especially heartwarming to see so many children smiling as they met Spider-Man and Moana, enjoyed face painting, balloons, and family-friendly activities throughout the event.

This year's Health Expo offered something for everyone. Attendees took advantage of free blood pressure screenings, cholesterol screenings, stroke risk assessments, foot and ankle evaluations, Hands-Only CPR demonstrations, nutrition counseling, cancer education, and one-on-one conversations with our pharmacists to get answers about medications and healthy living. Women also had the opportunity to learn about and register for free mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women, while visitors connected with specialists from OB/GYN, Multispecialty Services, and our Navy Yard practices to learn more about the exceptional care available close to home.

Most importantly, the Health Expo showcased what Jefferson Methodist Hospital is all about—caring for our community. Every day, our dedicated physicians, nurses, pharmacists, therapists, and healthcare professionals are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to the people of South Philadelphia and beyond. The Health Expo was another opportunity to bring that commitment directly into the community.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this year's event such a tremendous success. We can't wait to welcome you back in 2027 for another day dedicated to healthier lives, stronger families, and a healthier community.
