Kristen Vogl, DPT, MBA, is the Senior Vice President Operations Jefferson Methodist Hospital and the Enterprise Lead for the Musculoskeletal Service Line Jefferson Health. She recently held the Interim COO – Jefferson East role and has over 20 years of experience in academic medical centers. As Senior Vice President Operations, Kristen is responsible for developing and implementing the annual operating plan to drive key performance outcomes, overseeing day-to-day operations at Jefferson Methodist Hospital facility, and collaborating closely with regional leadership to execute strategic goals and objectives.
In her Service Line position, Kristen is responsible for managing the service portfolios across the continuum of care, driving profitable growth, optimizing service and provider distribution, standardizing protocols, policies, and clinical practice. In addition, she is accountable for strategic, growth, and performance metrics (e.g. market share, volume, clinical variation, productivity). Kristen has led the development of a new Hybrid OR for technologically advanced spine procedures at Jefferson Methodist Hospital. Most recently, Kristen partnered with Jefferson Health Senior Executive Team to finalize a ten year agreement with Rothman Orthopaedics. Lastly, she is a Jefferson Health representative for ASC and Specialty Hospital Board of Managers, Clinical Operations Committees, and Medical Executive Committees for Joint Ventures with Rothman Orthopaedics.
Kristen earned a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Physical Therapy from University of Scranton in 2000 and 2001, a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Temple University in 2003, and a Master of Business Administration from Holy Family University in 2014.
